Thinking of doing painted pebble dash on the front of my extension. Although not a choice I would usually make, the upper part of the original house is precisely this. I feel this would tie in the extension, although single storey, to the rest of the house.
However, the old painted pebble dash isn’t you regular 10mm round pea gravel, more like turbo 20mm gravel dash. Is it still called pebble dash or something else? Is the process the same? Would a thicker butter layer help?
