Birds in the attic

Hello

I seem to be suffering from birds in the attic and the tapping noise is driving me mad.

There is a hole in my felting so I am assuing they are getting in here. I tried taping it up with heavy duty gaffer tape but they have pulled it off.

Anyone got any ideas as to how to sort this issue?

You can buy bird comb which you attach by fixing to the top of the fascia board (once all other entrance points have been blocked.)
