I went today to Halesowen and Willenhall.
I started off with breakfast at the Hilton Puke SS. "Wood yow loike a coppa tee?"
"Pardon?"
"Wood yow loike a coppa tee?"
"Oh, I see. No, thanks!"
Then lunch, in a chippy...
"Cod and chips please"
"Yow wot?"
"Cod and chips please"
"What and chips?"
It seems may cut-glarse eccent is a tad ite of line with the inhebitants of Birminghem"
Though one thing made me titter, big time...
Two old dears 80+, bless 'em, in a supermarket.
"D'yow fansay a Quickie tonight?"
I nearly dropped my shopping in astonishment!!
"You wot?" asked the (deaf) hubbie.
"D'yow fansay a Quickie tonight?" repeated the wife.
It was only when they walked away, I saw they had chosen a Quiche......
