biro mark on faux suede sofa

What can I use to get rid of a biro mark on a faux suede sofa? I am worried about marking the mark larger with a stain remover.

The tried and tested method described elsewhere in this forum is hairspray. However, as it's suede I'd definitely experiment on an unseen area to make sure it doesn't damage the finish.
