bit random this - drilling holes in quartz

Evin' all, Megga random, but my better half has asked me if I have any idea about this - and I don't
How on earth can you drill small (around 2mm) holes through quartz pendants (each pendant is about an inch long and roughly 1/3 inch diameter give or take) - she's wanting to be able to string them and make them into jewelry stuff.

I'm not 100% sure it's possible without specialist kit but any suggestions apart from low RPM and slow and steady??

All suggestions wil win me kudos

I would imagine a diamond bit, something like a dremel, possibly done with water as a coolant...

These may be worth a try, I use the larger diamond cores for ceramic and porcelain tiles.

Fits the dremel and should be spot on...
Seems to be perfect and the better half is happy... Might use the goodwill to try and slip some of my dafter ideas under the radar
