Bitron AN0002 handset - buzzer voltage

Hi

Could someone please confirm the voltage for the buzzer connection in a Bitron AN0002 handset. I want to add a small external switch to the buzzer wire so that I can turn it on and off, but not sure what voltage switch I need. I a guessing 12v DC but would like to know for certain. Thanks in advance.

Buzzers are normally AC …I normally fit a small toggle switch ….5/6 mm hole

Thanks for the reply - I don't suppose you could recommend a toggle swtich - is it 12v AC then?

As long as you have room to drill a 6mm hole on side of the handset
