Hello all,
I have just started working on my kitchen (after 4 years of being a shell), the exterior walls are single 6 inch blocks, of a good construction. The exterior of which is rendered.
The interior walls are cobb and stone ( also of a good construction)
I am studding the insides all the way around for ease and to get levels etc sorted.
I have laid a new dpc and new concrete slab within (7.4m x 2.8m).
I have been trying to decide weither to black jack the 6 inch blocks before studding across infront of them, as yes its a barrier but also stops breathability of the block.
Has anyone got any recommendations either from knowledge or experiance.
Oh and the studs are to be filled to 50% depth with cotherm/kingspan insulation.
Many Thanks In Advance
Richard
