managed to cut though this today. Now I know where the pipe runs, lol.

Anyone know what straight connector I need to join this to new blue MDPE 25mm pipe?

It measures 1 inch diameter and has a very thick wall.

Haha,
Excavator tore though it like butter. Had found the lead pipe with detector, but that was redundant and the plastic was laid in a different location. What fun.

It's probably Alkathene, Vulcathene is more commonly used as waste pipes in laboratories, hospitals etc.
