Hey I no the usual way of bleeding a pump is to unscrew the big metal screw on the face of it it till the air escapes and a bit of water comes out. The one I need to bleed doesn't have this to unscrew. Its got a plastic nut were the screw usualy is. any one seen this type before?

Most pumps don't actually need bleeding if they are installed properly. With the pump not running unscrew the plastic "nut", then pull it out locking it into the spindle. Run pump and apply a little sideways pressure to spinning nut. Hold a cloth nearby since water will be flung outwoods.
