I currently offer general building services however there is one area I have limited knowledge. Having worked with 10mm before i have now found myself faced with difficulties bleeding an 8mm system. Is there a set procedure that does fail? I have managed to bring 6 out of 9 radiators back to life but the last three don't seem to want to join in. I have shut off all the others and drained the last three one at a time with the system on, draining what seems to be a wasteful amount of water. What are the secrets here? :(

Pumping One radiator at a time, then bleeding it with the pump OFF, is all you can do. On odd occasions I've put the vac nozzle over the bleed hole(plug removed) with slight benefit.

Corrosion inhibitopr would help cos it's a wetting agent and the pipe resistance would be less. Don't use washing up liquid though!

It just takes ages sometimes, unless its a sealed system.
