sorry for new thread but I searched for the answer in the forum but couldn't find it.

Anyway the question is when I unscrew the screw on the CH Pump should it blow air out or should water leak out? This I ask as when I loosened mine it did neither.
This came after I bled some of my Rads.

Any advice appreciated

With all bleeding the air escapes first if there is any, this is followed by the water which tells you there is no more air.
If you're not getting any sign of water then the bleed hole must be blocked

Mandate, No water, No air, could also be a dry system IS THERE WATER IN THE CIRCUIT. I speak from past experence. (Ball valve stuck) system was dry.

blukas 49 did say 'after bleeding radiators' suggesting system does have water, but nevertheless point taken and it shouldn't be ruled out
