Hello
I'm looking to covert my external double garage into a garden room. The garage has two garage doors at each end which I want to block up but am reluctant to do so with blocks as:
1) I'm not too sure on the depth of the footing beneath each door and it's difficult to dig a trial pit.
2) I want to make it easy to convert back into a double garage should I ever move.
Can I use SIPs to block up the doorways, and hold them in place with batons on the outside with cedar cladding, and battons on the inside with kingspan, tyvek and plasterboard over the top?
Would this meet building regs?
