Hi
Just musing really..I have two coal holes in my cellar that I want to be blocked up because they make the cellar very cold and also it tends to rain in a bit.
The cellar is part of a flying freehold, someone else owns the house above my cellar and the coal holes exit outside the front of their house by the road.
What's the best way of doing this? Blocking it off from the pavement or just bricking up from the inside and leaving the hole in the pavement? Am I responsible for the holes exit on the pavement..it's outside someone elses house (my house is on the other side of the terrace) & it's not my land.
Cheers for your thoughts!
