Hi could I have some help please.
Just discovered a section of our hall wall about 1 meter by 1 meter from skirting board up and from the door frame across has the plaster blown. So it's quite a large section of wall. Door was fitted a year ago. the wall is at 90 degrees to the frame if that makes sense. Could this amount of damage be caused by damp penetration behind the plaster by window co either causing prob with dpc where the sill meets the wall, or a problem they'veb caused with the cavity? Or would that be more localised and not extend out this far? Wall is papered with a vinyl paper.
Grateful for help and advice
