Hi all,
A qestion for you I am self building around a timber frame and have blocked up with pumice blocks (light weight) instead of concrete, for u values and ease of handaling, have rendered with sand cement with integral waterproofer in mix and noticed under one window that there was a crack in render from under window to bellcast bead, on hacking off found that all three blocks in question have cracked two top and bottom in joint and one in middle through middle of block,
There is an expantion joint about a metre away and don't know what to do next,
Do in hack the joints out and replace the broken block or do i leave it.
Thanks in advance.
