my shower cubicle is about two years old and on one wall the tiles have started to bulge and the grout looks cracked all up the wall, its on a stud wall thats been plastered what can i do to repair it?is this normal or just a bad job,any thoughts
Sorry man, but it sounds very like a bad job. Sounds like the wrong type of plasterboard and no tanking. Ok so that's the good news.
Assuming you're not planning to move soon, then it sounds like it's all gonna have to come out and be redone. To be on the safe side, you'd be best ripping out all the walls that are tiled on plasterboard and redoing them with Aquapanel then retiling.
I suggest if you still have contact with the guy that did the work then you remove his balls for him.
Good luck,
Gcol
