I have just brought a M3 the soft top roof is not reclining, I knew this when I brought it, but I would like to get it fixed, someone said a sensor and maybe the motor, is there some way I can test to see which it is, and which ever it is, is it a hard job to fix myself. many thanks

they have a release handle under the rear seat for the roof if it has got stuck, if it has been pulled it releases the motor off the mechanism which is in the passengers side in the boot, remove the panel to reveal the mech then clip the motor back into place hopefully that should be the problem.
