Hi,

I've nearly finished a media wall project on my own house but I want to add a centre speaker for surround sound under the TV.

It's going to be around 140x140x220mm WxHxD so the speaker can go inside and finish flush with the wall

I'm just wondering how these are usually boarded when I won't be able to get in with a drill to screw them to the studs? Same question for skim though I could probably get away with leaving that as it won't be seen

Please could anyone advise the best way to do this

Thanks!

Use adhesive with a mastic gun onto the studwork and then caulk and paint after.

Ok thanks, so if I put a corner bead around it too, whats best thing to do with the corner bead that's on the inside? Would the plasterer just skim over the edge?
