In the process of renovating a 1930s bungalow and as it’s a small build, I wanted to board the loft to use as storage. The joists are 3 ins tall.
Am aware of recommended depth of usual products of 200-300mm.....but want to have gap of 70mm due to boarding floor for storage.....considered loft legs and extra joists on top but some issue for me with those for head room and would take a few days.
anyone know a 70mm product which is good insulation to fit between plaster board and ply boards?
I have seen Celotex but not the best insulation properties. Possibly tri iso 10 is an option. Or any suggestions?
Thanks
