Hi All,
Looking for some advice about boarding out my loft and I can’t seem to find the answers elsewhere to my particular situation.
I live in a steel framed house and in the loft the joists are 150m deep. There is insulation up there which is much higher than the joists. With the steel joists, loft legs are a no go so I've decided to board straight on to the joists.
My question is should I A) remove the excess insulation above the joists or B) just squash it down and put the board over the top? (I plan to use tongue and groove OSB Board)
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks
