Hi everyone,
In the process of renovating the hallway and porch area, ripped out the poorly constructed internal wall and door, will be replacing wall and fitting external grade door so no building regs to worry out. (Was thinking of having open plan but too much of a fuss and already small so can’t lose anymore space with insulation etc).
My question is, one of the walls is single skin, I have removed the existing wood covering and was planning on boarding over, will it be sufficient to dot and dab/plasterboard adhesive foam?
Bearing in mind there isn’t a lot of room to work with as you can see in the photo.
As there will only be shoes stored in there, shouldn’t be any damp problems?
Thanks in advance.
