I have watched this programme a few times with my niece and it annoys me no end. It does not teach children about real life. Not once does it show Bob or any of his helpers:

1. stealing
2. lieing
3. thieving
4. urinating in inappropiate places
5. having kleptomania
6. putting rubbish into places where they think it will not be discovered
7. nicking stuff
8. time wasting
9. pilfering
10. leering
11. fleecing people
12. turning up drunk from the night before
13. pocketing other people's tools
14. cutting corners
15. swiping other people's belongings
16. botching
17. making unnecessary mess

It's a scandal and the BBC are in on it.

Well I think it is a jolly entertaining show, and the likeness between the protagonist and my business associate Robert, who works in the construction industry is uncanny. I think you must have been dealing with one of the few bad apples who give the industry a bad name.
 
did you mention- borrowing peoples possessions on a permanent basis without their permission? ;)
 
And what about.

Using peoples phones while they are out?

Rumaging through the woman of the houses knicker draw/laundry basket?

Walking around with the aboves bra on your head to show your mates?

Teasing the families pets so the end up so nervous they wont come out?

Nicking any lead or copper thats left laying around?

Doing a 'u blocker' in someones toilet after a ruby the night before?

Eating all the customers biscuits?

Not turning up for three weeks after you have agreed to be there tomorrow?

Making suggestive comments to the lady of the house?

Wolf whistling women walking by whilst holding crutch?

Insisting on half the money up front..then not coming back?

Writing quotes on the backs of fag packets?


Can we fiddle it...YES WE CAN!
 
or ringing sex lines on the customers phones

going on their pc an finding those Private digi cam photos (in days of old it was the camcorder tape in the wifes knicker draw near the T*ys )

going through the statements an building soicety books ...

trying out the weights in the lil spare bedroom /gym

cutting a floor board trap in the hall ,then putting the rubbish under the house void instead of hiring skip

if single bringing your workwear an using the customer washer/dryer (top tip saves on your lecky charge meter)

if working where customer has lots of spirits ,pour good stuff into plastic diet coke bottles, but YOU MUST before hand mark content line with pencil then refill with tap water too mark , wipe bottle an return ...

if customer has new xbox 360 , spend a full day playing games but dont use their mem cards but delete their last saves ,lol

an my fav was an old plasterer mate who rigged up a pin hole cam in bedrooms of fit customers ,an sold the tapes in the estate pubs,
he is in HMP Manchester now ..lol

it would be like a home grown SOUTH PARK cant you sort it so we get an 18th cert bob the builder cartoon

i remember snow white and the seven lil men x rated FUNNY :LOL:

Theres a programme on BBC about tradespeople who trading standards are onto etc, and they film them doing dodgy work in their setup house, its very entertaining stuff! :LOL: Called house of horrors i think.
