Boiler - Central Heating

have'nt been in the UK for long, been here just 3 months, so i don't really know how the system works, well my boiler's not functioning, the indicator which has "Low System Pressure" on it, is flashing red, have'nt done anything different, the water's not heating up !! have had to take a cold shower the past 3 days , is there a problem with the supply or the equipment, i don't know. Who should i be talking to? i called british gas, who inturn sent somebody from trenco/tresco ( don't remember) the guy said we had the wrong man as they only repair gas leaks !! somebody please suggest what i should be doing next, the landlord's out of town and i have'nt been able to get in touch wit him

PS : When i switch on the central heating i hear knock like sounds from the radiators, don't really know if the problem's related

you called Transco, they deal with gas leaks.

try a search for filling loop.

your sytem is a combi boiler, and it has lost its pressure, the question is why.

it would also be helpful if you could answer as many of these that you can
