Hi, hoping to seek some advice, currently having quotes for a new boiler and are finding conflicting solutions on the best way to run the condensate pipe, left me unsure as to what is a better method.
Boiler location is on an upstairs on a landing and is not on a external wall, bathroom is further down the landing past 2 bedrooms so there is some distance involved.
The 2 suggestions, short of moving the boiler entirely, is to run the pipe under the floor on the landing and go in under the bath this seems to involve having to notch the joists, or to fit a pump and take the pipe up into the loft and then come down to join the boxed in soil pipe.
Two very different solutions, neither which are a likely to be an ideal solution but need to know what is the preferable option.
Thanks
