Hi,

I've a question on my boiler layout which I've attached photos of.

I turned the wall thermostat I have right down to off last night. However the heating was on when I came home this evening.

Can anyone tell me what the box is to the top of the control panel I have? It looks like the wireless controllers Honeywell sell but it's hard wired in. It just has one red LED and one green LED and a single button.

I can't figure out what it does and could do with some help please?

Many thanks!

Its the wireless receiver for the thermostat you have tucked away somewhere probably with flat batteries.

the heating is on possibly becasue a kind installer enabled the failsafe mode.

Ah result!! I stupidly though the thermostat on the wall was wired in! Thank you!
