Afternoon all.
Just returned form holiday and gloworm ultimate fails to fire. Has been off for 11 days.
No pilot flame.
Fan on top of boiler runs. (Went for this first after previous problems)
I think solenoids both pick up.
Spark igniter clicks continuously and is visible in window.
The first attempt after waiting 30mins I can hear the gas "pop" as the pilot tries to ignite and occasionally stays in but main flame will not fire then eventually pilot goes out or is not visible from start but continues to spark.
Have seen other posts re this can I check the APS pipes without being "gas safe"? Don't want to interfere with anything on the gas side but would like an Idea of what's wrong before I call someone in.
Appreciate any advise/information.
