boiler flue below eaves

Hi I always thought fanned flue boiler flues needed to be 200mm below the eaves but sure iv read in some MI that the distance is 25mm below the eaves sounds a bit close

If the MIs say it's ok then that's what you go by.

25mm is a very small distant to exit below the eaves though, was quite shocked when read this.
