Common - air in pipe. It usually stops by itself. If not, you need a non return valve (and small expansion vessel usually, see the instrs ) on the input to the boiler.
r u sure it's ignighting. Some boilers suffer from this as a minor inconvenience. When you run then shut off a cold tap the boiler starts the pump and fan but doesn't usually go as far as ignition. The first attempt at a fix is a check valve, and it works most of the time, then a small shock arrestor if check valve doesn't fix it alone. You then have the noise of the check valve to add to your worries. Still, keeps you fed with stuff to post.
