Hi,
My boiler is in a tight loop between off and calling for heat. Tonight I sat next to it and took the following measurement for Call (when the ignition starts to spark trying to light the pilot), On (when the main burner ignites) and Off (when the main burner goes out).
From these times I was able to calculate a time between Off and Call. The other time like sparking duration and lit duration were just for fun!
The average time between Off and Call is just over one minute. I believe this is very short. What would be a more realistic time for this be? I changed the pump setting from 1 to 2, during my measurements which resulted in a few seconds increase in boiler off time.
House is 4 bed detached. Boiler is Glowworm Ultimate 70FF. All rads are on and very hot.
What could be wrong please? Thermostat in boiler?
Thanks,
Chris
