Can anyone help me with a problem we have with our boiler and noise reverberation outside?
Its a Trianco eurostar oil fired boiler, just been serviced with all readings looking good. Its sited in the kitchen and has a low level flue directly on the otherside of the kitchen wall. The problem is, that we have an archway linking us with next door over a shared driveway and the vibration reverberates around the archway(same height as the house).
Its no problem to us at all, but next door's lounge and main bedroom are on the opposing wall to our kitchen.
They want us to resite our boiler to the garage, but its in perfect working order and would leave a space in the fitted kitchen and I want to exhaust all other options. Are there such things as silencers for flues? Would extending the flue out the top of the arch diminish the vibration?
