Hi there. A bit of help if possible.
Have just moved into a new place renting.
Boiler is: IDEAL logic max heat2

This morning the heating turned on as per timer and after a few seconds I heard a loud "click" and the boiler seemed to turn off (by off I mean it was no longer heating towards target temperature). I also started hearing a clicking noise coming from the airing cupboard upstairs and discovered the clicking was coming from the heating pump. Now, every time I switch on the boiler, the clicking noise comes on from the pump, the boiler will not switch on to "heating mode" and every couple of seconds it gice me a message on screen as per the attached.

Am very new to UK heating systems so any advice or guidance would be very much appreciated.

The pics I have attached are of the front of the boiler, with panel open and closed, the underneath of the boiler, the message coming up on the display for the boiler and the lights showing on the GRUNDFOS pump (UPS3)

Thanks again.

Good question... I cannot find a gauge to check that. Would it be on the actual display panel of the boiler perhaps in a menu somewhere?

Do you have a hot water cylinder, any pressure gauge could be near that.
As you are renting ,why don't you contact the landlord or their agent ?

You have a fault with that pump . That's what the red light means . There is a hole in the center . Put a small flat head/pozi screwdriver in there and try to turn clockwise . If that fails hit the end of the screwdriver with a hammer ( usually does the trick . The issue is that the pump has stopped . Very common with these

Thanks for this and will give this a try. No need to turn anything off etc for this?

Been in touch with agents and waiting for response to see what they can do. Will be bathing cold tonight.

No you want to do it with the power on and with a call for hot water / heating . Don't go mental with the hammer though , just a few love taps . If not you probably have an immersion heater on your hot water tank . Usually a switch around the tank area turn it on and you will have hot water after 30 mins or so

Thanks very much, will give this a try...

The UPS3 from what I've read on here and elsewhere have well more than their fair share of failures, if it has failed and except you have a huge amount of rads etc would recommend replacing it with a Dab Evosta3 which will also give you the flowrate and pump power.
If its under warranty, of course get another FOC.
