Boiler not turning off.

Currently have a Highflow 400 OF boiler installed, it's fine and works normally for hot water and central heating, but when I turn the switch to "off" the boiler continues grumbling away and sounds like it keeps firing up.

Recently had a gas bill at £183 for two month which I think is a bit much considering heating rarely goes on, so I'm thinking the boiler must be running 24/7?

Any help would be great

Hi there,

I had a similar issue with the actuator valve sticking. I never solved this until I replaced the heating system and had new valves.

When the new boiler was installed I noticed it didn't switch off the I broke the rule and RTFM and found out the new boiler runs for 15 mins after the switch it off.
