boiler not working

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas regarding a problem I have with my Glo worm fuel saver mk2 boiler.Although the pilot light is on it refuses to fire up when the heating or water is sitched on.Thermostat is set ok but will just not work for some reason.Any ideas before I call an engineer would be appreciated!!!

high limit stat .. reset is at the back ..
check the 2 wires to the gas valve .. if 1 is life possible solinoid/valve .. replace gas valve ..

not much else can wrong with em .

Check external controls are giving live to boiler at boiler.

How about a dodgy thermostat?

Is this the one that has the temp contolled pump over run in the thermostat. if so does the pump spin?
