Hi All,

I tried to turn my boiler on the other day for the first time in a few months, I can get the pilot flame to light but when i switch the controls on to start the heating the bolier doesnt ignite, still has the pilot light lit.

A friend from work has told me to check the fuse & electric supply for the boiler using a multimeter,

Would anyone else have any sugestions to try before i arrange to have an engineer to look at it??

Any advice would be helpfull,

Many thanks

Boontune

ok, sorry...

My boiler is Gas, made by Gloworm

Unsure how old, but looks 10years+

Unsure if any repairs / mods have been done as i have only lived in the property for 5 months

Boontune, not giving us much to go on so pardon me if this is stupidly obvious;

I assume you mean you do this at the programmer; have you got the thermostat turned up sufficiently for it to call for heating ?[/quote]
