Boiler Problem

Hi,

I have an Ariston Microgenus 24 HE boiler. When the hot water taps are turned on the boiler kicks up and gives hot water, however when the thermostat is turned on to start the central heating nothing happens. The boiler stays off and no error messages are shown.

any help would be appreciated.

timer or thermostat, link out at boiler to check cable continuity.

Thanks for the quick reply CTP,

I played about with the boiler today. i think its the timer switches which are faulty. I jiggled them about and it has been working fine upto now. I will see how it goes for now.
