Boiler problem.......

Hi,

I have a problem with the Glow Worm Compact 75P combination boiler, It fires up, but when the CH has been on for a short time, I hear a click, then the gas turns off and the pilot light goes out.

please help

sound like the overheat stat, maybe it or the pump has gone

I would suggest to get a CORGI person to have a butchers for you

thanks for the reply,

I replaced the boiler overheat switch today, all the rads get hot, so I pressume the pumps working, but it still trips the gas to shut off.

Hope this makes sense

mmm you may have a sludge problem, best get someone in unless you are competent

do a search on what competent is as its been done to death

theres a filter i think on the right hand heating pipe (return i think) that will be sludged up
