I am having some ongoing problems with my electric storage heating system.
An engineer has pin pointed the contactors as the problem, he was unable to get any until monday so as i work for a wholesaler i have sourced replacements.
I have fitted schnider 15959 in place of the finder originally fitted and wired in exactly the same way.
This resolved the problem and boiler worked, unfortunately after turning the hot water timer off the contactors have gone to the closed position. i have tried turning the whole system off and restarting it with no resolution.
When power is switched on contactor closes and opens once switched off.
does anyone know what may be causing this.
I have on and off peak supply to the boiler, could this cause any problems.
