Hi everyone,

I know this type of question gets posted regularly and believe me I have read the plumbing forum thoroughly for info but I still would like your help/advice on what to get.

I have a 3 bed semi, with 8 radiators, in future (some time yet though)would like to add another bedroom with rad(obviously) and en suite. Would like to put boiler in loft as space elsewhere is limited.

At present we have an old glow worm for CH in the dining room and an unmarked brand of water heater in the bath room which has now died.

I've had 2 quotes so far, both recommending Worcester junior 28i and will get one more quote tomorrow.

My fear is the 28i may not be powerful enough for the future plans. I know lots of you have favourite systems and so would appreciate your guidance or advice or help on what system may be best.

many thanks
andy

The 28 j is upto your heating demands but not upto an aditional en suite it has a flow rate of 9lt per min so would only do one tap at a time

thanks COG. this is what I feared.
I thought the flow was about 11 litres/min but i guess it's neither here nor there.

Would the worcester Bosch 35CDi be better or should I move away from combi altogether. I only have the Worcester brochure to hand I'm afraid

thanks
andy

try the mans websites
you only get out of a combi what you can put in
if your flowrate is 11lpm and the combi can heat 18lpm
you still only get 11 :)
