Can anyone give me a rough idea of the cost of an annual service on a Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler? Our boiler was installed some years ago and has been serviced by a WB engineer every year since then. We have a service contract, the cost of which has been creeping up and is now around £50 per month. That's £600 p/a which would cover an awful lot of work on the boiler. We are considering cancelling this and just saving the money to pay for an annual service and any repairs. Is this a more cost effective way to do things?

Maintenance contracts are always profitable, for those providing the service, and so YES!

There are various levels of annual service, a basic boiler safety check, a check and actual service of the boiler, and the latter, including the rest of the system.

I’m £220 a year for full parts and labour for my whole system with local independent which includes an annual service
