Well it was a duplicate but Mad Mod 7 has locked your other post which explained what the problem is !!!

I was going to replace the bathroom radiator & clean out all the radiators when it get's warmer in case I messed up & we were left without heating.
I should really contact the installer - but 5 phone calls to look into the bathroom radiator that needed venting it just isn't worth it.
I was left with a leak after that visit.
Sorry for the long post but the background might help.
I'm just about to call WB so any ideas I can give to the next engineer that calls?
To be fair they have always responded quickly & the engineer seems competent to me. As an electronic engineer I have some sympathy in how difficult diagnosis can be but try explaining to the wife."""
I do have to add that you cannot NEED to bleed a "teacup" from the rads! You only bleed air when the top of a rad is cold!
Its very unlikely that you have insufficient flow rate. Fit an auto bypass as asked for by Worcester.

Thanks for posting the original text - nearly did that but thought I might compound my mistake.
I can see how teacup could be misconstrued, I meant the water that's lost over a month is not very much, about a teacup.
Couldn't think how to describe how little air I let out.
On the last visit the WB Eng'r said he'd spoken to our installer and now agreed we didn't need a bypass.
With the symptom being it won't start in the morning then I would think all my TRV's are open so there must be a path.
But I can't see how it'll do any harm to have one fitted & of course I'll mention it on his next visit on Tuesday.

I agree that the lack of a bypass is not likely to be the main cause of your problem.
I was really responding to your thought that a single rad with open valves would constitute sufficient flow. With a 15 mm connection that might almost be enough but with microbore the flow is miniscule.
Ages ago someone posted here that they had been advised by Worcester that they did not recommend any of their condensing boilers to be fitted to a microbore system after they failed to cure overheating faults.
If yours is an open vented system then I dont see why you are talking about eggcups being lost! Unless its a manual replemishment then you would not know. In any case the evaporation would be more than an eggcup.
