Hi all,

Could you please help me to connect my Honeywell ST9100S? I'm total dummy to electric stuff and don't understand the scheme.
I have a red, black and yellow-green cable from wall power point and blue, brown and yellow-green cable from boiler.
Thanks a lot.

Some boilers are simply power to run remove power to stop but most have power to them all the time so when switched off they cool down first and the switching on and off may be 230vac but could also be 24v.

The timer you show it would seem has volt free contacts and can be used with either type of boiler.

In general red to brown, black to blue, And green to green/yellow but before wiring you need boiler information.

Thanks ericmark!

I have checked the boiler and looks like this timer is compatible with my boiler.

Could you please tell me which cables should be connected to which ports, as per my image?

Thanks ericmark!

I would never come up with this connection. Looks very different to me.
I'll try today.

Thanks EFLImpudence!

Should I keep 2 and 3 terminals blank? Or connect them together with "U"?

Leave them unconnected.

There are several variations in the wiring instructions.

Just confirm that you have a combi-boiler

I'm sure I have a combi one.
Would it be a problem if not? I assume that the timer would just not be working properly.

I'm sure I have a combi one.
It's one which heats the water when you turn on the tap.
(Although it is possible for a combi to heat a storage cylinder it is unusual.)

Would it be a problem if not?
It's just that there are several wiring options in the manufacturer's instructions but from the diagram you posted it is unlikely to be other than I have shown.

I assume that the timer would just not be working properly.
Do you mean if the boiler doesn't work?

I see...

This boiler is simple for heating water to whole flat (150 liters capacity) -
ELSON Coral E. Not for central heating.

is it not combi?! :(
I hope it's still possible to use this timer... Please advise.

I would never come up with this connection.
I'm not surprised.

Red to L
Black to N

Brown to 1
Blue to 4

Both G&Y to E(symbol)

I have tried this anyway and it works - but power only, switch didn't respond to any settings. I bought simple immersion heater timer (your suggestion) in B&Q and it works just fine. These timers are simple and doesn't have many features like the other ones. Anyway, Thanks again.
