Hello,
Hope someone can help with a small but annoying problem I have with my boiler. It's a Ravenheat White Star (the one from B&Q), and generally seems spot on. However, when firing up, more so form a cold start, a distinct 'clunk' can be heard from the inside of the boiler, then for the next few seconds this turns into a 'light fluttering clunking' sound. It's almost as if someones tapping the inside of the boiler with a soft hammer. When the unit was new my plumber friend had problems obtaining an air tight seal around the combustion chamber with the cover, could this have something to do with it??
Any help appreciated, thanks.
