Hi - I doubt this has been a question so I’m just jumping in with hopefully enough info for anyone who can help. Our boiling water tap tank started shutting off after 10 seconds then after a month or two started to leak. I disconnected it and have taken it apart. It looks like the leaking culprit might be where the thermostat pin goes into the tank. I guess if it was leaking, it would shut off. Also the pressure from tap dropped. I’ve attached pictures of the thermostat pin which looks rusted around it. Any ideas if this is repairable?
Also in taking it apart it looks like I’ve dislodged the earth and a pink wire. Anyone know where these go into the circuit board??
This was a present from someone who got it from ebay so no warranty anyway.
Any help much appreciated. Thank you.
