But being told to knock people down is not something that comes later to bus drivers...
Are you sure about that? I think the ones round here are
Richard, I think most kids signing up think that way about a career in the forces. I know when my hubby's nephew was about to sign up, my hubby and his brothers (other uncles) sat him down and told him exactly what life is like in the forces & that it's nothing like it says in the glossy promotional booklets. Needless to say, he changed his mind. Not all kids have this chance though and having been to more than one of the promotional sessions I know how hard they sell a career in the forces to young kids.
Tbh, I am glad that neither of my kids wanted to follow in the family tradition of being in the forces
I don't agree with anything that's happened in Iraq, any more than it sounds like you do. However, it was UK and USA who put Saddam in power in the first place....
I merely said that I'd like to pull the rope on the barstewards who want to kill innocent kids on a night out. I knew a young girl who was killed by the evil swines in Sharm El Sheikh. She went on holiday with her Mum and sister a totally innocent 16 yr old. She was later airlifted home to die
Anyone who goes out and plots to kill or premeditatedly kills innocent people like those swines should swing.
I do not apologise for my views either.
