Hi, I have removed a load of old silicone from the shower which has plastic boards rather than tiles. The boards are black marble effect so I am going to use black silicone vertically in the corners, but it might look strange to use black above the shower tray. However where the black vertical sealant will meet the white horizontal sealant in the corners, will this let water through I.e. am I right in saying one cannot bind to the other if i do them at different times with one dry when I do the other?

Presumably if i do them more or less at the same time they will bond? Alternative is to do black also above the tray, but set against the white tray it might look odd.

Thanks.
