I'm installing a fibreglass bonding 'secret' gutter at the join of my roof with next door.
Both roofs are slate, but there's a chance next door will re-roof theirs in near future, so I'm planning ahead so they don't disrupt my slates when theirs is done.
I've installed
It's described at having a life expectancy of 30 years. Is this to be expected?
I was wondering whether to go over it with lead just to extend the life of the roof, or is that overkill?
There is also the issue that the slates have no support down 5" of each side of the join. I can see next door's aerial guy putting his size tens right on the join.
I suppose there's no answer to that!
