I'm going round in circles trying to figure how to sort out my water pressure.
H+C are gravity fed but with v low pressure (head is only about 1.3m above floor as we're in a top floor flat with no roof space).
Original plan was to boost the whole flat, but have been advised that because I can't separate the toilet cistern this may put the pump under strain as it won't know when to switch off.
So am thinking of just boosting the hot water in kitchen and connecting H+C for bathroom sink into existing shower pump (located in bathroom).
I think this means I just need a small single impeller to site under the kitchen sink.
Could anyone advise me if this sounds like a good solution...
Also if possible suggest a pump (or make of pump) that would do the job. I assume a low Bar (1.2 max) would be OK.
I am unsure about 'switches' as the plumber who was going to quote for the job said he couldn't find a pump which we wouldn't have to manually turn on and off when we want to use the hot water in the kitchen. I thought that a flow switch was designed to operate automatically and remove this need? Am I wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Neil
