Following a plumbing inspection by wessex water I am no longer allowed to use a hose in my farmyard even with a one way valve fitted to the tap. Would the easiest way be to fit a header tank and booster pump? I can't manage without a hose and don't want the expense of a borehole. It won't get much use, often several days between use, but when I use it it tends to be for pressure washers (hour or so) or washing spray cans, 5-10 mins then a break of 1 hour then, start again.
Machine mart do a clarke stainless steel booster but are they any good or should I go for a more expensive one?

Yes a header tank would be the way to go. Visit a milking/dairy equipment farm supplier. They will usually keep a large range of pumping systems/tanks in stock.

This is one of the largest suppliers in Ireland...

He doesn't have a website or computers but knows the price of tens of thousands of components and parts in his head. Pretty impressive I always think.
If you try to barter with him in any shape or form he puts the price up and tells you to take it or leave it.
