Bora TDI flasher unit

Seems to be sticking when operating the indicators and also making the clicking sound when driving along without the indicators being operated.

Time for a new flasher unit I think.

Does anyone know where about's under the dash the unit is ?

I think it's part of the hazard warning switch, mate.

Plenty on ebay and a third the price of local VW. Just have to get the one with the right part number.

You could try cleaning the switch out first with electrical cleaner, nothing to lose for the sake of £3. Cured some dodgy indicators on our audi.
They very rarely get used so cant see any wear issues.

Yes, the hazards ans indicators are on the same relay unit on the back if the hazard switch, just have to get the unit out of the dash.

Since the unit probably won't pull apart, I presume the electrical cleaner is sprayed on the brass fingers and allowed to seep inside then left to dry ?

Normally in any gaps you can see, working the switch helps too. I tend to spray a lot in there a it does evaporate eventually.
