OK. So the neighbour's plum tree collapsed into our garden.

We spent the best part of last w/end cutting it down and harvesting the fruit.

Now we're stewing and freezing it.

But we are getting incredibly bored picking out the stones after cooking.

Any suggestions please, for a quick method of de-stoning?

As above, decorer before cooking. Obviously a bit late now.

Or back to squishing and a bit of fun with the misses in the shower after :p

OK. Destoning before cooking is more timeconsuming....

Looks like I'll just have to while away a few more hours in the kitchen then...

Thanks guys.

Grater?
Blender?
Collander?

Really cannot think of anything else.

Found this, again too late,

To de-stone the plums, microwave on full power for 2 minutes. Leave till cool enough to handle — the stones will come away easily from the flesh.
